Soundmine MusicWorks was founded by Dan Malsch in January 2011. After years of developing and producing albums for national recording artists (Tantric, Framing Hanley, Transmit Now) and bands who want to take it to the next level, Dan's vision was to use his years of experience and industry know-how to create a way for artists to show their talent and get them heard by the masses. The label plans on opening a few eyes and shaking up the music business.
The label's roster for 2011 is impressive and will please many a music-lover's ears. It includes hard rockers (Heart-Set Self-Destruct, Hierosonic, Dirty Rotten Liars), pop/punk artists (Stella Park, LOTF & Nottingham) and cutting-edge bands (The Killing Floor & Johnny Rockit). Many of the bands have achieved success regionally and are well on their way to being household names. The year has just started and the label is excited to make additions very soon.
Dan has gathered a group of seasoned professionals who are grounded in their experience, but are up on with the trends. The core of Soundmine MusicWorks is comprised of Dan Malsch (CEO), Mike Villegas (A&R/Label Manager), Alec Henninger (Production Assistant) and Dan Green (Art Director). This team will be striving to bring the best talent and give them a voice to be heard.
It is Soundmine MusicWorks goal to provide artists with a platform to showcase their talents through press, radio, promotional and tour support.The label will continue to search for talent and bring it to the public. Soundmine MusicWorks plans on being a contender with the heavy-hitters in the music business in the coming months and years.
